Pacific Island Arts Festival

Saturday & Sunday, January 21 & 22:
Pacific Island Arts Festival.  More than 75 Hawai`i artists display their work for sale at this annual event. There will be weekend long demonstrations by artists, some of whom offer our guests the chance to create their own artwork, and take items home. Enjoy local music and hula, shave ice, and on Sunday there will be Lion Dancers of Au’s Shaolin Society to help artists and guests bring in the Chinese New Year. Located directly across from the entrance to the Honolulu Zoo at the Diamond Head end of Waikiki. Kapiolani Park, 3840 Paki Ave., Honolulu.  9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Free admission.
