Friday – Sunday, September 23 – 25:
Powwow in Paradise.  This event is located on the east side of the island at the beautiful Kapa`a Beach Park in downtown Kapa`a. This is a free family event with special Native American crafting and education tents; Native American drumming, organic Fry Bread food booth, and hand-made one of a kind Native American art and crafts. Also a special Hawaiian blessing and Grand Entry parade.  Kapa`a Beach Park, Niu St., Kapa`a.  Friday, 4 to 9 p.m.; Saturday, 11 a.m. to 9 p.m.; Sunday 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.  Free admission.  For information visit www.kauaipowwow.com.
