Sun Yat Sen Festival

Sun Yat Sen Festival. Wo Hing Museum honors Dr. Sun Yat-Sen, known as The Father of Modern China, who led the early 20th century revolution and became president. Watch a lei ceremony at the Sun Yat-sen statue, martial arts demonstrations, and see displays on the life and teachings of Sun Yat-sen from Maui to China. Enjoy a presentation on the significance of his work and connection to Maui. Festival is 1 to 8 p.m. Wo Hing Museum is open from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. with free admission.
