The 40th annual Pan-Pacific Festival

June 07, 2019 – June 09, 2019:
The 40th annual Pan-Pacific Festival, a celebration of cultural traditions of Hawaii, the Pacific Rim and around the world, will run from June 7 – 9 at various locations throughout Honolulu. The three-day festival kicks off with a Hoolaulea (block party) complete with live entertainment on multiple stages, food, crafts and more. The celebration continues with Performing Arts Showcases, featuring cultural performances and demonstrations. The 19th Annual Pan-Pacific Hula Festival will take place daily on Waikīki Beach featuring more than a dozen hula halau (schools), most of them from Japan. The Punahele Party on Saturday night will feature a live band with hālau. The festival concludes with a colorful parade along Kalakaua Avenue in Waikīki.
