The Threads of Kaua`i’s History Gala. Recognizing the cultures and clothing that the many cultures have woven into Kaua`iʻs History. Dress in one of those colorful attires: Chinese, Japanese, Hawaiian, Filipino, Paniolo, Missionary, Surfer, and so many more. Proudly wear the clothing that reflects the multi-cultures of Kaua`i. There will be a promenade for all to see the creativity and history of participants. This 22-year project will be highlighted in a brief legacy video, “Tenacity for Preservation”. Festivities Include music and hula, and heavy pupu and cash bar. Kaua`i Marriot Resort & Beach Club, 3610 Rice St., Lihue. 4:30 to 9 p.m. Tickets will be available online until October 25th.
