Saturday, February 13: Maui Whale Festival. The festival kicks off with the Parade of Whales at 9 a.m. on South Kihei Road, beginning at Kamaole Beach I and heading north to Kukui Mall. The Festival continues throughout the day at Kalama Park, with live entertainment, Wild and Wonderful Whale Regata, Made in Maui Artisan Fair, Keiki Carnival, and ono grinds and beverages available for purchase. Maui Solar Eclipse Fair
Tuesday, March 8: Maui Solar Eclipse Fair. Safely experience the beauty of the crescent sun with The National Solar Observatory and the Maui Science Center. The moon will begin to move in front of the sun at approximately 4:30 p.m. By 5:30 p.m., approximately 60% of the Sun will be blocked by the Moon, creating a crescent-shaped Sun on Maui’s western horizon.
