Saturday, September 30: Kona Coffee Living History Farm’s Farm Fest Open House. This annual festival honors Kona’s historical, agricultural and coffee heritage. The event’s theme this year is “From Farm to Table” and will be featuring celebrity chef Sam Choy demonstrating how to cook sustainably from the garden. There will be “Hands on History” activities that visitors can participate in, such as tofu making, pickling, pan-roasting coffee and medicinal gardening.
