Waimea Town Festival

February 15 – 23: 
Waimea Town Festival.  Waimea Town Celebration is Kaua`i’s largest and oldest annual festival on the west side of the island. Enjoy live entertainment: a Hawaiian rodeo, canoe and stand up paddle races, a film festival, softball and 3-on-3 basketball tournaments, a fun run (10K, 5K, 2K), hat lei and `ukulele contests, cultural exhibits and culminating in a 2-day celebration (2/21-2/22) with continuous entertainment on the big stage with food booths, games and rides for the keiki, craft vendors and a Heineken / Coors beer garden. 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily.  Free.  For information and schedule of events, visit www.waimeatowncelebration.com or call (808) 651-3368.
