WAR. This show will have a dance floor! Multi-platinum-selling and Grammy Award winner WAR, the original street band, has been sharing its timeless music and message of brotherhood and harmony for almost five decades before millions across the globe. War was the first and most successful crossover band that fused rock, jazz, funk, Latin, and R&B, selling more than 50 million records with hits such as “Low Rider”, “Spill the Wine”, “Why Can’t We Be Friends”, “Cisco Kid” and many others. An American original, War transcended racial and cultural barriers with a multi-ethnic lineup of band members. They are Rock & Roll Hall of Fame nominees and achieved ten Billboard Top Ten hits. They’ve been honored with 17 gold, platinum and multi-platinum awards. This musical melting pot band continues to influence America’s pop cultural landscape and continues to tour, performing 150 shows a year with a catalog of hits that remain a significant part of rock music history.
