Saturday, October 7: Matsuri Kaua`i. The festival will showcase different groups of Japanese talents and to perpetuate the Japanese culture on Kaua`i. Taiko performances and classical Japanese dances will also be featured. Usually a featured performance from Japan is presented at this event along with some hands on activities (i.e. oshibana, origami, oshie), crafts, kimono dressing, tea ceremony, shodo, bonsai, ikebana, and more.
