Saturday, February 2: Waimea Cherry Blossom Heritage Festival. This popular festival held in the community of Waimea celebrates Japanese traditions and culture and includes cherry blossom viewing, music, demonstrations, exhibits, crafts, entertainment, ethnic foods, a farmers’ market and visiting performers and artisans from Japan. Parker Ranch Round Up Club Rodeo
Saturday & Sunday, August 31 & September 1: Parker Ranch Round Up Club Rodeo. See all the traditional and Hawaii-only rodeo events for adults and keiki (kids). Christmas in Waimea
Saturday, December 7: Christmas in Waimea. Enjoy craft fairs, entertainment, holiday giving, keiki (children's) games, and food at venues throughout Waimea. The annual lighted parade, starts at 5:30 p.m. from historic Church Row Park to Waimea Park. The main highway through town will be closed from 5:30 to 6:45 p.m. Santa will be at Parker Ranch Center after the parade. Twilight Christmas Parade – Waimea
Saturday, December 1: Twilight Christmas Parade - Waimea. Starting at Church Row, and ending at Waimea Town Park. Visit with Santa at the Parker Ranch Center, 67-1175 Hawai`i Belt Rd., Waimea, immediately after the parade and have a free picture taken with him. There will be goody bags for all children, while supplies last. Charitable donations will be accepted to benefit the Waimea Lions Club and North Hawai`i Hospice. 5:30 p.m.
