Backstage at Cantonese Opera. Honolulu – Hong Kong-based Spring Glory Cantonese Opera Workshop brings their marquee production Backstage to Honolulu on Sunday, October 20, 2019 at 2:00 pm with a single performance on stage at the UH Manoa Campus Center Ballroom. Glimpse life behind the curtain as the Cantonese Opera troupe prepares for their performance. Spring Glory Cantonese Opera Workshop is committed to the education, promotion and research of the art of Cantonese Opera. Over the years, it has organized and supported numerous Cantonese Opera programs in Hong Kong, mainland China and throughout the world under the guidance of master Cantonese opera artist Yuen Siu-Fai and seasoned performing arts coordinator and producer Barbara Tang.
