Prince Kuhio Celebration of Kauai. Prince Kuhio was one of Hawaii’s most beloved Ali`i (royalty) and statesmen. Located in Poipu, Ele`ele, Lihue and Wailua these events provide many interactive educational sessions about Hawaiian cultural practices and arts. Most events are free to the public. “Thirty Years of Ekk – One Long Hawaiian Kine Pardee”. E Kanikapila Kakou (EKK) is the Hawaiian phrase meaning “everyone jam” or backyard musician concerts.
