Old Town Kapa`a Art Walk. Kapa`a Town goes all out for its First Saturday of every month Art Walk. The main street is lined with vendors selling Kaua`i Arts and crafts, with some of Kaua`i’s best musicians and bands playing up and down the street. Obon Dance & Festival. The Obon tradition was brought to Hawai`i by Japanese immigrants and evolved into a social and cultural event, as well as a religious custom designed to honor ancestors through an evening of dance, music and merry-making. Kaua`i Hospice Concert in the Sky

Kaua`i Hospice Concert in the Sky. Featuring fireworks at 8:30 p.m. choreographed to a 20-minute soundtrack. Enjoy local entertainment by local performers. America’s Most West Freedom Fest. Enjoy live music on da beach with Cruz Control, Henry Kapono & Duke’s on Sunday Band, Kapena and Ka Vibes. There will also be lots of onolicious grinds from some of Kaua`i’s favorite food trucks, a beer and wine garden, craft vendors and keiki activities featuring the Showtime Players. Free parking will be available on base. All vehicles will be subject to search. No offside food or beverages, coolers, tents, pets, weapons, drones, drugs or personal fireworks are allowed. Motorcycles welcome; riders must wear helmet, boots, bright colored long sleeve shirt/jacket or reflective vest.
