Hawai`i Opera Express Presents: The Magic Flute. The Magic Flute is Mozart’s final masterpiece about man’s search for love, wisdom and virtue. From brilliant arias to the folksong-like refrains of the bird catcher Papageno, Mozart’s music sparkles in this enchanting fairy-tale opera. A 40-minute, kid-friendly abbreviation from HOT’s Opera Express team, with audiences invited to sing along, and young “volunteers” brought onto the stage to help tell the story.
