Kailua-Kona Independence Day Parade and Fireworks Extravaganza

Wednesday, July 4: 
Kailua-Kona Independence Day Parade and Fireworks Extravaganza.  Parade will begin at 6 p.m. at the Kekua`okalani Gym, proceed along Ali`i Drive, and finish at the Royal Kona Resort. Entries include neighborhood and community groups, nonprofit or commercial entries along with musical entries and floats of all kinds, multiple color guards and numerous members of the armed services as part of the parade.  Following the parade, fireworks extravaganza will begin at 8 p.m. over Kailua Bay.  For more information call (808) 985-7373 or visit http://www.paradesinkona.com/.
