Puna Culinary Festival.  The Puna Culinary Festival celebrates culture, cuisine, and abundant produce of Puna. The festival’s theme focuses on local products and sustainable farming in Puna. The week features a variety of culinary classes, farm and market tours, and themed dinners. Venues for the events are throughout the Pahoa area, including at Kalani Oceanside Retreat, 121-6860 Kalapana-Kapoho Beach Rd., Pahoa.  Noon to 8 p.m.  Some fee, some free, some donation.
